Purification and filtration process

The raw gas is ideally performed in cross flow to the filter bags to
avoid an up-current against the dust sedimentation device. The raw gas
is directed through a distributor plate, which takes place at a
pre-separation and the raw gas stream is more uniform in the filter
housing. The deposition of particles found on the surface of the
filter media or on the surface of the filter cake instead of being
deposited on it. The corresponding flow resistance resulting from the
pressure loss of the filter cake and filter medium immediately after
the pulse-jet cleaning system (residual pressure loss). The cleaned
gas flows upward from the hose. Especially in long tubes (for example,
a hose length of 8 m with a tube diameter of 160 mm) and high filter
surface loading, the pressure drop across the tube bottom, ie at the
outlet from the tube via the inlet nozzle into the clean gas field,
also of importance. This and all other flow resistance of the filter
housing (raw gas inlet to the filter cake surface, the clean gas flow
from outlet to outlet hose clean gas channel) are summarized in the
enclosure pressure loss. After cleaning the filter bags, the dust
particles settle in the dust collecting chamber and the material is
transported from there mostly via screw conveyors and rotary valves.
In the online mode, the particles are located in the raw gas chamber
filtrates up continuously. Immediately after the pulse-jet cleaning,
the particle concentration in the vicinity of the filter bag is very
high. In this state it is, especially when finely dispersed dusts with
low agglomeration tendency for dust particles filtration cleaned.
This "inner" dust circulation can cause a significant portion of the
filter cake mass and thus contributes to the pressure loss. To
increase energy efficiency will therefore filter modules by raw and /
or clean-gas side shut-off during the cleaning fluid in a loose state.
In this so-called offline mode, the immediate rebound of the dust is
suppressed at adjacent filter bags. The filter can also be done by an
air pulse of much lower intensity.
